What type of membership is available?

  1. Individual membership costs AUD$50 (plus AUD$5 GST) per year.
  2. Tier 1 corporate membership, which allows a company up to 5 members across Australia and New Zealand on a single corporate membership, costs AUD$150 (plus AUD$15 GST) per year.
  3. Tier 2 corporate membership, which allows a company unlimited members across Australia and New Zealand on a single corporate membership, costs AUD$300 (plus AUD$30 GST) per year.
  4. Memberships renew on 1 April each year.
  5. If you purchase a membership commencing after 1 April, your membership period will be short-termed to renew on the next 1 April. Your membership fee for the short-term period will be adjusted accordingly.

How do I join?

  1. Click on the "Become a Member" button on the right hand side of the screen. Then select the relevant membership option.
  2. Fill in the relevant fields and click "Submit". Remember to note username and password details for future access to the site.
  3. You will then be taken to the secure payment site for credit card payment.
  4. A confirmation email will be despatched.
  5. In future you will be asked to log in with your username and password if you wish to renew your membership, update your details, access the online library or register for an APIG event.

How do I register under a corporate membership?

To register as an APIG member under a corporate membership:
  1. You must firstly be added to the corporate membership list by the manager of the corporate membership
  2. You must then create your own online login on the Register page using the corporate member code and a user name that is unique to your employment (e.g. jane.doe@company)
  3. You then have access to all the membership benefits available to individual memberships
If you don't know your corporate member code or need to be added to the list, please contact the person who manages your corporate membership. This is generally someone in your marketing team or someone affiliated with APIG. Feel free to contact us via the Contact page if you cannot find your manager.

How do managers add individuals to a corporate membership?

The person nominated as the manager of a corporate membership can add individuals to that membership by:
  1. Logging into the self service portal
  2. Go to the 'My Details' section
  3. Scroll down to 'All People On Your Group'
  4. Click 'Add a Person'
Once added to the corporate membership, individuals must create their own online login to book events, access the member library, manage their contact details and manage their email list preferences.

What are the benefits of being an APIG member?

  • Access to the APIG online library, which provides downloadable presentation papers and committee news and access to useful industry links.

What is the management structure of the APIG?

APIG has chapters across Australia (in NSW, QLD, Vic, SA and WA) and New Zealand, which are supported by a National Committee, State Committees and a New Zealand Committee. All committee members support APIG on a volunteer basis.
