An APIG VIC Event

Venue: Wotton + Kearney, Level 30, 500 Bourke Street, MELBOURNE, VIC, 3000, AUSTRALIA,
Details:

Dear APIG VIC Members,

We invite you to join us for our next educational seminar on the 2024 APIG calendar of events.

Australia wants to emerge as a global leader in cyber security by 2030.  Backed by the Federal Government key initiatives are set to form the groundwork for this ambitious vision.  The first initiative looks to support cyber resiliency in Small and Medium sized businesses; the backbone of the Australian economy.

Cyber and Information Technology Insurances and associated services have an important role to play in this initiative, but remain as often poorly understood and underutilised insurance products by both industry and government.

Join panelists: Samuel Rogers (Head of Cyber Insurance, Dual Australia and New Zealand); Brett Parnell (Victorian Manager Professional & Financial Risks, Gallagher); and Ellie Brooks (Senior Associate, Wotton + Kearney) as they look at the ins-and-outs of cyber policies available for Small and Medium sized businesses; consider the implications of upcoming privacy law changes for SMEs; and explore how cyber insurance can assist business in improving their resilience against the next cyber-attack.
